My
co-worker built this bird feeder and gave it to me to paint. For the
roof I painted it a solid dark brown and added light brown brush strokes. I
painted the rest of it yellow with the green ladder along the bottom. I got the
idea for the birds from a scrapbooking kit I have and added “Home Tweet Home”
for the final touches. What do you think?

CHRISTMAS 91
Merry Christmas in the middle of February! I just came across these pictures from years ago and wanted to add them to my album. Some of you may already know I'm new to the crazy world of embellishments, and I usually will add too many or in this case add no enough! I'm practicing how to balance the two. In this case I do love these photos so I'm OK with the fact that I skipped on the embellishments. For the title on this page I used my Cricut Cutter, I created the photo corners myself out of some pretty good paper I had and since I didn't have any gold thickers I added gold paint to some random ones I had in my stash.
Enjoy!

TEA TIME
Tea anyone?
I painted this wooden box with an antique white paint and create individual compartments for my various teas. I added magazine paper as a liner to give it an older look. I'm still looking for some small nobs to add but haven't found any that I like just yet. I've thought about distressing it, maybe I'll try that next week.

HAPPINESS IS IN THE AIR
Hey everyone,
This two page layout came in a pack I bought together so everything coordinates nicely. These two pages can hold up to 5-8 photos depending on how you place them. The vellum quote says HAPPINESS ... Is like a butterfly: The more you chase it, the more it will elude you. But if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder. My favorite part of these pages are the two beautiful acrylic jeweled butterflies on the second page. Hope you like it!
